History of Dunhill cigarettes starts from 1907 when Alfred Dunhill opened a store in London to sell cigarettes. In the beginning of 1990’s Rothmands owned the brand, but later the brand was owned by British American Tobacco.
Despite its comparably high price, Dunhill cigarettes are one of the best-selling brand in the world. Such famous people as legendary gonzo journalist, Hunter S. Thompson and English rock musician John Lennon favored Dunhill cigarettes. Currently distribution of Dunhill International cigarettes in USA belongs to R. J. Reynolds, who owns also the popular brand Camel. The advertising slogan of the brand is: “whoever is tired of Dunhill is tired of life”. Dunhill Lights cigarettes have white packing and Dunhill International cigarettes are packed in red packing.  Dunhill International cigarettes are one of the most expensive and luxurious cigarette brands and are one of the only Dunhill cigarettes sold in United States.
