Only on the day of the cigarettes first release everything was cleared up, “Camel cigarettes are here”. Famous Joe Camel became symbol of the brand, this character was very popular in 1980s, 1990s. Since the very beginning Camel cigarettes have the same design of its box. The main elements are Joe Camel, pyramids and the Camel sign. Also it has reminder of the unique taste of cigarettes: Turkish & domestic blend, and information, emphasizing long-standing history of the brand. Advertising slogans for the brand are: "I'd Walk A Mile For A Camel", "Made Fresh - Kept Fresh", "Camels Agree With Me!", "Camels Agree With More People", "For More Pure Pleasure...Have a Camel!", "Today, a Man Needs a Good Reason to Walk a Mile", "Smooth Character", "Genuine Taste", "Live Out Loud", "Pleasure To Burn" and many others. Today there are several variants of Camel cigarettes, such as Camel Super Lights, Camel Lights and Camel Mild.
